Jerome Joseph Scherer

Jerome “Romie” Scherer, age 89, of Milaca, formerly of Loretto, went home with Rick and Doug on December 26. Funeral 1 PM Thursday, December 30 at Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca with Fr. Jim Remmerswaal officiating. Visitation one hour prior at the funeral home on Thursday. Interment will take place at Milo Cemetery near Foreston. Preceded in death by sons, Richard and Douglas; parents, Charlie and Lucy; brothers, Cletus and Wilfred; sisters, Irene and Florence. Survived by sons, Charlie (Norma) and Terry (Mary Lou); also by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
