Bernice Josephine Hoffman

Bernice J. Hoffman was born October 9, 1913 in Niobe, ND to Erick and Minnie (Soderstrom) Lundgren. She married Francis Hoffman in November 1933 in Kenmare, ND. They lived in Bismarck, ND most of their lives. Francis preceded her in death in 1979. Bernice moved to Milaca, MN in 2004 to be near family She passed away on January 12, 2011 at the Milaca Elim Home at the age of 97 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis; three sons, George, Joseph and Daniel and two sons-in-law, Clifford Jochim and Martin Gunsch. She is survived by four children, Joan (Jochim) and husband Christ Evanov of Milaca, Jeanette Gunsch of Bismarck, ND, David Hoffman of LaPorte, CO and Dale Hoffman of Salem, MO; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; also by many nieces and nephews. A family celebration of life will be held in Kenmare, ND at a later date.
