Gordon was born in Rogers Minnesota and started his business life at the early age of 12 driving beer trucks in his family Grain Belt beer distribution business, Rouillard Beverage. Gordon graduated from Elk River High School. He served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a successful business man and after devoting many years to his work, he retired to pursue his true passions of spending time with family, travel, golf, fishing, gentleman farming at Rouillards River Ranch, card playing and living happily ever after. Gordon was a handsome, charming man with a magnetic personality and was loved and appreciated by many extended family members, including his Mazatlan and Cabo Families and numerous dear friends. Gordon was a great story teller and treated everyone he met with a joke and a smile. He had a great sense of humor and always looked at the bright side of life and helped the rest of us to do so too. Gordon was forever young and people felt happy to be around him. He had a strong Catholic Faith which carried him through life with grace and humility.
Special thanks to the medical personnel at Mayo Clinic and Hospital in Scottsdale Arizona as well as the caring staff of the Mille Lacs Health Care System .
