Mass of Christian Burial for Larry Fleck, age 62, of Milaca, will be held Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 10 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Milaca with Fr. Jim Remmerswaal, OSC officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 – 8 PM Tuesday at St. Mary’ Catholic Church with a prayer service at 7:30 PM. Visitation will also be one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Casketbearers will include Dean Reineccius, Frank Jochum, Jerad Fleck, Jeffrey Fleck, Derek Fleck, Jeremy Fleck, and Aaron Fleck. Providing music for the service will be Alan Godage. Lawrence Richard Fleck was born February 23, 1949 to Earl and Myrtle (Byzewski) Fleck in Saint Cloud, Minnesota. He lived in Milaca and was a finish carpenter. He worked for Kraus-Anderson until he retired. He was united in marriage to Rosalie Smekofske July 18, 1985 in Brennyville. He loved ice fishing, hunting, and playing cribbage, cards and dice. He enjoyed wood-crafting, going to garage sales, and travelling. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, and he never passed up a good deal. Larry passed away Saturday, August 6, 2011 at Fairview Northland Regional Hospital in Princeton. He is survived by wife, Rosalie, of Milaca; children, Jason (Amy) Fleck of Foley, Ryan Fleck of Foley, Marj (Dale) Dahler of Milaca, Lynn Evans of Saint Cloud, Donnie (Dawn) Evans of Brainerd, Sandy (Dean) Reineccius of Milaca, and Barb (Frank) Jochum of St. Cloud; mother, Myrtle of Foley; grandchildren, Addie, Josh, Jennifer, Sam, Candi, Kate, Emily, Jordan, Alyssa, Jack, and Cody; great-grandchildren, Hallie, Cole, Isaiah, Charles, Sophia, Lexi, Chloe, and Austin; brothers, Ron (Nancy) Fleck of Bloomington, David (Linda) Fleck of Sartell, Duane Fleck of Sauk Rapids, and Darwin (Jean) of Foley; many other relatives and friends. Larry was preceded in death by his dad, Earl; son, Justin; and grandparents.
