Funeral services for Jane Olivia Johnson, age 89, of Milaca, MN, formerly of Wayzata, MN, will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at 10:30 AM at the Milaca Elim Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Sahlstrom officiating. Interment will follow at Groveland Cemetery in Minnetonka. Jane passed away on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2011 at the Milaca Elim Home. Jane Olivia Johnson was born May 23, 1922 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She graduated from Wayzata High School in 1940 and the University of Minnesota in 1944 with a degree in business. She married Frank Johnson in 1945 and lived in the Wayzata area until 2002 when they moved to Milaca. Jane enjoyed spending time with family and friends, reading, playing cards, and being outdoors. She is survived by daughters, Marcia of Minneapolis and Carol (Duane) Jerzak of Milaca; son, Dale (Emily) of Bishop, CA; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Frank and brother, David.
