Funeral services for Ruth Dilley, age 84, of Milaca, will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 10:30 AM at Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca with Rev. Tom Sahlstrom officiating. Interment will follow at Borgholm Cemetery near Bock. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday.
Ruth Sylvia Dilley was born December 14, 1926 to John and Magdalina (Gaub) Siewert in Marsh, MT. She was united in marriage to Earl Dilley on June 24, 1945 in Princeton, MN. The couple resided and farmed in several areas in Minnesota. Ruth worked at Milaca Mills, Fingerhut, Federal Cartridge and she retired from Sheller Globe in Mora. Ruth enjoyed cooking, crossword puzzles and animals. She died on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at the Milaca Elim Home.
She is survived by her four daughters, Beverly (Dean) Schwarz of Zumbrota, Betty Manthie (Jon Packard) of Milaca, Sally (James) Noack of Milaca, Diane Bell of Pine City; two sons, Larry (Pu Suk) of Milaca and Donald of Milaca; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; also by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl in 2001 and brother, Marvin Siewert.
