Lucille Lorraine Segerstrom

A memorial gathering for Lucille Segerstrom, age 83, of Foley, will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2011 from 2 – 5 PM at Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca. Lucille Lorraine Segerstrom was born October 10, 1928 to Ed and Sylvia (Judd) Kaspar. She married Robert Segerstrom on November 10, 1955. In 1958, they moved to rural Foley where they farmed and raised their nine children. Lucille enjoyed volunteering for Fair Share in her earlier years and was involved in Homemakers. She like doing crafts, caring for flowers, bird watching and doing puzzles. She loved playing cards with Bob and taking trips to the Casino to eat and play. Lucille died on Monday, December 12, 2011 at St. Cloud Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Bob; children, Norma Doolittle of Lewisville, TX, Danny Shaffer of Cumberland, WI, Mark (Mary) Shaffer of Valentine, NE, Linda Haberman of Foley, LuAnn Schraut (Gary Deppa) of Royalton, MN, Peggy Segerstrom of Foley, MN, Debbie (Bob) Schonning of Blaine, MN and Norman (Vicki) Segerstrom of Foley, MN; 19 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Ed Kaspar and George Kaspar; sisters, Ethel Johnson and Bonnie Scherer; also by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Connie Segerstrom; sister, Harriet Salgren and son-in-law, Lawrence Doolittle.
