Russell Dale Hamilton

Memorial service for Russell “Big Russ” Hamilton, age 56, of Milaca, will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 2 PM at the Milaca Hi Rise Apartments Senior Dining Site. Interment will take place at Wyanett Church Cemetery near Princeton. Russell Dale Hamilton was born July 3, 1956 to Kenneth and Marian (Norby) Hamilton in Princeton, MN. He grew up in the Princeton and later moved to Kerrville, TX where he lived most of his life. He served in the US Navy and was honorably discharged. For the past three years he has lived in Milaca to be near his children and grandchildren. He loved to go see the country and making new friends. He enjoyed just being are people and making them laugh and he never wanted to see someone down. Most of all he loved gambling and going to the casino. He will be truly and greatly missed by all of those who knew him. He died on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at the Milaca Hi Rise Apartments. He is survived by his children, Chad (Kim) Hamilton of Milaca, Travis (Mindy) Hamilton of Milaca, Nicole Hamilton of Georgia and Jason Hamilton of Alaska; grandchildren, Bailey, Mitchell, Miranda, Jordan, Janessa, Jayce and Shalyn Hamilton and Destiny, Heaven and Devin Williams; siblings, Randy Hamilton, Renea Rodriguez, Lee Hamilton, Lavern Hamilton, LaDay Pate, Linda Venegas and Tony Tovar; also by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Hamilton; son, Jason Haberman and infant sister, Joanne Hamilton.
