James Maurice Halverson

James M. Halverson, age 84, of Isanti, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Sept. 26 in Milaca, MN. Preceded in death by wife, Frances; parents; brothers and sisters; special friend, Delores Larsen. Survived by sons, Greg (Robyn) and Doug; grandchildren, Mark (fiancé Kirsten) of Vancouver, BC, Mike (Raedean) of North Branch and Karen (Chris) of Winona; great-grandchildren, James, Nate and Isaac; sister, Lorraine Kiel; also by many other relatives and friends. Graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 27 at 2 :30 PM at Forest Hill Cemetery in Milaca with Rev. Tom Sahlstrom. Military honors will be provided by Hansen-Hayes American Legion Post #178 & Siemers-Hakes VFW Post #10794. Visitation will be from 3 – 5 PM Thursday, September 27 at Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca.
