Vivian B. Lindell-Gaylor, age 92, of Milaca, died Saturday, October 27, 2012 after a brief illness at Heritage House in Milaca, where she had been a resident since September 2010. Funeral service will be Friday, November 2, 2012 at 11 AM at Estes Brook Evangelical Free Church with Rev. Wes Macy officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the church on Friday. Arr. Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home of Milaca.
Vivian B. Lindell was born May 6, 1920 in Maywood Township, Benton County to Nels and Alma (East) Brasted near Oak Park, MN. She grew up and went to school in the Milaca area. In 1941, Vivian married Leonard Lindell and they raised their family on a farm at Oak Park. She loved having a large garden with many flowers while doing the chores for all the farm animals. Vivian loved to travel in their RV and made many trips to western states, Florida, Canada and a trip to Norway, her father’s homeland.
In 1989, Leonard Lindell died after being married to Vivian for 48 years. In 1997, Vivian married Robert Gaylor of Princeton. They resided in Princeton until she moved to Heritage House in Milaca.
Vivian is survived by two sons, Donald (Jane) of Bonita Springs, FL and Dennis of Faribault, MN; daughter-in-law, Marlys Gadacz of Foley; son-in-law, Malcolm Olson of Becker; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; also by many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Nels (1920), mother, Alma (1971), daughter, Lorna Lou (1956), son, Ben (1981), son, David (1988), husband, Leonard (1989), daughter, Linda Lee (2006), son, Robert (2008), husband, Robert Gaylor (2010), brother, Filmore (1991) and brother, Clifford (2001).
