Dennis LeRoy Peck

Funeral service for Dennis Peck, age 66, of Foreston, will be held on Friday, January 24, 2014 at 11 AM at Zion Lutheran Church in Milaca with Rev. Stephen Blenkush officiating. Interment will follow at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery at Little Falls. Visitation will be from 5 – 8 PM Thursday at Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Dennis LeRoy Peck was born October 31, 1947 to Edward and Margaret (Klein) Peck in Springfield, MN. He served in the U.S. Army from July 7, 1967 to July 6, 1970 during the Vietnam War. He was united in marriage to Kathy Grafe on April 17, 1997 in Las Vegas, NV. Dennis worked for 35 years as a machinist at Graco. Dennis loved fishing and was an avid deer hunter. He was a member of the Milaca American Legion. Dennis passed away on Friday, January 17, 2014 at his home. He is survived by his wife, Kathy; children, LeRoy Peck of Willow River, Curt of Willow River, Steve (Dani) Peck of Anoka and Jenny Strom of Blaine; step-children, Erik Jacobson of Eden Prairie and Betsy (Jesse) Lowther of Plymouth; 21 wonderful grandchildren; brothers, Darold (Berneida) Peck and Robert (Linda) Peck; sister, Betty Roiger; also by many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Derek Strom and brother-in-law, Gene Roiger.
