Margaret Eleanor Doree

Memorial service for Margaret Doree, age 74, of Bock, formerly of Hill City, will be held on Friday, February 7th at 3 PM at Hill City Baptist Church in Hill City with Pastor Lonnie Lee officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Margaret Eleanor Doree was born August 9, 1939 in Grand Rapids, MN to Alfred and Catherine (LaVoy) Humphrey. She lived in Bovey and Coleraine and later moved to Hill City and worked various jobs including many years at the American Legion, the mercantile and Dairy Quik. She moved to the Milaca area in 1990, where she did factory work until her retirement. Margaret enjoyed spending time with her dogs, family and friends. She also liked going to the casino, playing bingo and thrift store shopping. She passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2014. She is survived by children, Lori (Todd) Wheeler of Foreston, Jim (Colleen) Lamke of Hill City, Traci (Kurt) Beckstrom of Milaca, Tammi Peterson of Milaca and Kelli Lundeen of Princeton; 14 grandchildren, Adam, Eric, Nathan and Sydney Wheeler, Erin and Austin Lamke, Andy and Pete Beckstrom, Joshua, Curtiss and Tonia Holm, Logan and Lucas Peterson and Olivia Lundeen; 4 great-grandchildren, Jackson Holm, Ezrie Wheeler, Aleah Beckstrom and Calla Holm; also by many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rodney Doree; 5 brothers, Thomas, George, Guy Sr., William and Richard Humphrey and sister, Marie George.
