Terence Warren Paxton

Memorial service for Terence W. Paxton, age 55, of Milaca, will be held Monday, February 10, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Milaca with Father James Remmerswaal officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at church on Monday. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery at a later date. Terence Warren Paxton was born May 23, 1958 to Alan and Beulah (Stromwall) Paxton in Milaca, Minnesota. He graduated from Milaca High School in 1976 and from the police academy in Alexandria in 1978. He was united in marriage to Karen Ridens in Coon Rapids on September 04, 1982. He later married Sondra Mayer on June 26, 1993 in Milaca. He worked in law enforcement his entire career. He served the communities of Tyler, Milaca, Washington County, and finished his career in Sherburne County as a member of their SWAT team. Terry passed away Monday, February 03, 2014 at his residence. He is survived by son, Jason Paxton of East Bethel and daughter, Rebecca (Luke) Emmerich of Saint Francis; two grandchildren, Masin Paxton and Brianne Emmerich; brothers and sisters, Mary(Jack) Epperson of Dayton, NV, Steve (Lisa) Paxton of Brainerd, Gail (Michael) Anderson of Milaca, Brian Paxton of Milaca, Nancy (Dan) Ruis of Milaca , Kevin (Amy) Paxton of Milaca, and Janene (Tim) Faust of Cloverdale; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Terry was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Michael.
