Roxanne Chalberg, age 48, of Milaca, passed away September 3rd at the University of Minnesota Hospital. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 6th at 10 AM at St. Louis Catholic Church in Foreston with Fr. Jim Remmerswaal, OSC officiating. Visitation will be from 5 - 8 PM on Friday at St. Louis Catholic Church and 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
Roxanne Lea Chalberg was born March 16, 1966 to Delroy and Lana (Vaillancourt) Kampa in Saint Cloud, Minnesota. She graduated from Foley High School. She was united in marriage to Nathan Chalberg on July 20, 1985 at Saint John’s Catholic Church in Foley.
She worked at Crystal Cabinets in Princeton for 25 years.
Roxanne was a mom, a wife, a daughter, a sister, and a friend. She had a lot of things she still wanted to explore in this world and many things to see. She was loved by many and touched many hearts. Her husband and three beautiful children loved her dearly. She cared for others first and for herself second. Gardens, birds, bees, walks in the woods, angels, finding fairies, laughing, clumsy, love, beauty. These are the things that come to mind when she is thought of.
Roxanne passed away on Wednesday, September 03, 2014 at the Fairview University Medical Center in Minneapolis.
She is survived by her parents, Delroy and Lana Kampa of Foley; husband, Nathan; children, Cassandra, Alexander, and Sophia; sisters, Carrie (William) Boyd of Onamia and Jodi (Gordon) Chalberg of Milaca; brothers, David Kampa of Foley and Mike Kampa of Foley; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ervin and Helen Kampa, Carol and LaVerne Vaillancourt ,and John Chapp; nephew, Joseph Chalberg.
