Funeral services for Patricia Fulin, age 74, of Farmington, formerly of Milaca and Isle, will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 11 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Milaca with Pastor Perry Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Milaca. Visitation will be from 4 - 7 PM on Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church and 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Pat passed away on Monday, January 26, 2015 at Fairview Southdale Hospital. Memorials are preferred to Opstead Baptist Church in Isle or Gillette Children's Hospital in St. Paul.
Patricia “Pat” Josephine Fulin was born July 22, 1940 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to George and Norma Haggberg. Her family moved to St. Louis Park where she spent her childhood years. She was united in marriage to Richard Fulin in 1963 and moved to Milaca, Minnesota where they farmed together and raised a family for 14 years. In 1988, with their family grown, they moved to Isle, Minnesota and Pat worked at Ozzie’s Restaurant for 16 years. After her retirement, they moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas where she enjoyed making many new friends, serving as the church kitchen leader, singing in the choir, and boating on Bull Shoals Lake. In 2013, they moved to Farmington, Minnesota to be near family. She loved playing games with her children and grandchildren and cooking their favorite foods, decorating cakes, growing flowers, and showing hospitality to everyone she knew. Pat passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on January 26th after a short battle with cancer.
Pat will be greatly missed by her husband, Richard and her children, Roxanne (David) Thorson, Candace (Tim) Schroeder, Jeffrey (Mary) Fulin, Jeanine (Tim) Borge, Denise (Jim) Manchester, step-son, Kirk Fulin, fifteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Also survived by brothers, Bill, Gary and Tim, and sister, Nancy Perkl. She was preceded in death by her parents.
