Mass of Christian Burial for Lorraine Campbell, age 81, of Milaca, formerly of South St. Paul will be held at 11 AM on Monday, December 1, 2008 at St. Louis Catholic Church in Foreston with Fr. Jim Remmerswaal, OSC officiating. Interment will follow at St. Louis Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
Lorraine Campbell was born March 18, 1927 to John and Helen (Larsen) Yanish in St. Paul, MN. She grew up in St. Paul and graduated from Humbolt High School. Lorriane worked for a few years as a receptionist/assistant for a physician. Lorraine raised her daughter, Vickie, on her own until she married Paris Campbell in 1974. They made their home in South St. Paul, MN. Lorraine loved music. She sang and played guitar and was also able to play the piano a little. Lorraine and Vickie had many sing alongs in the family living room. Lorriane also loved to play cards and she was a very tough opponent. In 2002, Lorraine moved from her home in South St. Paul to live with her daughter, Vickie in Milaca, MN. Lorraine died on Thursday, November 27, 2008 at the Milaca Elim Home.
She is survived by her daughter, Vickie and husband Tim Johnson of Milaca; sister, Mildred Davis of Tigard, OR; also by many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Paris.
