Audrey Ann Schaapveld

Memorial service for Audrey Schaapveld, age 79, of Milaca, will be held on Monday, March 2, 2015 at 2 PM at Milaca Evangelical Free Church with Pastor Mike Johnson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Interment will be at Big Lake Cemetery at a later date. Memorials are preferred to the Milaca Ev. Free Church White Cross or Pearl Crisis Center. Audrey Ann Schaapveld was born September 6, 1935 to Olaf and Mary (Ellefson) Olson in Becker, MN. She was united in marriage to Herbert Archie Schaapveld on May 12, 1953. Audrey and Herb raised their children and enjoyed all the time they shared together, especially holiday gathering and reunions. She was an active member of the Milaca Evangelical Free Church and a wonderful seamstress. Audrey passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 in Princeton. She has gone to be with her husband and daughter . . . until we meet again Mom . . . know that you were an ever loving Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma and Sister, unconditionally. She is survived by her children, Tres (Dean), Jo (Dave), Bruce (Tangi), Kim, Sue (Dave) and Jeremy (Denise); grandchildren, Sam (Pam), Hillary, Lexi, Piper, Zach (Kelly), Andy, Ryan, Riley (Jessica) and Jordan; great-grandchildren, McKenzee, Mashaya, Carter, Jaden, Cullin, Braden and Jackson; Cooper (the family pet and companion); also by many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert in 2006 and her daughter, Beverly Joy in 1960.
