Lee Lemke

Memorial services for Lee Lemke will be held on Friday, December 26, 2008 at 7 PM at Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home on Friday. Lee Leo Lemke was born March 10, 1984 in Princeton, MN to Dennis and Annette Lemke. He later moved to Milaca to join Steve and Kathy Orton where he resided for the past 21 years. Lee attended school in Milaca where he made many, many friends. After school he started working at the Milaca DAC where he was currently employed. Lee passed away on Monday, December 22, 2008 at the age of 24 years old. Lee has been such a gift to his families. He was known for his contagious smile, compared to a “Ray of Sunshine!” He has been a wonderful teacher and has taught us all so many lessons. He has touched so many lives. Lee loved all kinds of music and his favorite song of all was “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”. Lee is our “STAR” and the joy that he has brought to our families will live on in our hearts forever. Lee is survived by his parents, Dennis and Annette Lemke; sisters, Nicole (Anthony) Josephes and Keli Lemke; foster parents, Steve and Kathy Orton; foster brothers, Erik (Trina) Orton, Evan (Brianna) Orton, and Brian Smelter, 2 foster nephews, Rolin and Finn, grandmother, Dorothy Lemke, foster grandmothers, Shirley Johnson and Lorraine Orton, many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and special friends at the DAC in Milaca.
