Emily Vivian Weigle

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, January 17, 2009 at the Peterson Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca. Interment will be at the St. Francis River Cemetery near Santiago, MN. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour before services on Saturday. Emily Vivian (Young) Weigle was born on January 2, 1921 to Loren and Ruth (Baker) Young in Milaca, MN. Emily resided in Milaca as a young woman and moved to Ocala, FL in the fall of 1952. She resided in Florida until 2006 when she moved to Burnsville, MN. Emily died on Sunday, January 11, 2009 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Shakopee at the age of 88 years and 9 days. She is survived by sons, Carlton Brastad and wife Teresa of Palm Springs, CA, Jerry Brastad and wife Kathy of Burnsville, MN and Nels Brastad and wife Sandy of Burnsville, MN; daughters, Barbara Bentz and husband Gary of Savage, MN and Carol Hutto and husband Jim of Ocala, FL, 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Benjamin Young and sister, Lillian Stallcop
