Teunis Stob was born July 29, 1925 to Martin and Albertha (Koelikamp) Stob on a little farm near Pease, MN. He grew up in the Pease area and attended District 6 country school. He was united in marriage to Mable Brown on March 15, 1952 at her family home. The couple farmed in Milo Township near Foreston, which they owned for over sixty years. Teunis had many happy years on the farm he shared with his wife and girls. He got up early every morning to milk the cows, most of which he raised from calves. He enjoyed putting in the crops in the spring and watching them grow until harvest in the fall. Teunis spent many hours bailing hay with his friends and neighbors. He was always willing to lend a helping hand if needed. Teunis also worked for about five years hauling milk to the Oak Park Creamery. He was a long time member of the Christian Reformed Church in Pease, where he served as a deacon for many years. He enjoyed going to the sales barn every Tuesday and visiting with friends there. In later years, he enjoyed going to the Pease Cafe to visit with the guys. Teunis passed away on Friday, July 17, 2015 at Milaca Elim Home.
