Rosella Marie Bottelson

Funeral services for Rosella Bottelson, age 80, of Milaca will be held on Monday, February 16, 2009 at 1 PM at Zion Lutheran Church in Milaca with Rev. Stephen Blenkush. A private family interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Milaca. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Arr. Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home of Milaca. Rosella Marie Bottelson was born April 4, 1928 in Ogema, WI to Herman and Ebba (Levine) Nelson. She grew up and attended school in Ogema. She married Duane Bottelson on September 20, 1953 in New Brunswick, MN and they made their home in Milaca, MN. Rosella worked at Milaca Mills and at Weisbrod Bakery. She was a member of the Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Oak Park and the Zion Lutheran Church in Milaca. She enjoyed gardening, playing cribbage, baking and reading. Rosella died on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at the Milaca Elim Home. She is survived by her sister, Myrtle Blomberg of Ogema, WI; brother, Floyd Nelson of Ogema, WI; also by her nieces, nephews, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Duane and sister, Pearl Olson.
