Andrew “Andy” Steven Olson was born at Princeton Hospital on November 28, 1995, to Steven Charles and Tammy Jean Olson of Milaca. He attended the Milaca Public School for all 13 of his academic years and graduated in 2014. During his secondary school days, Andy was also named to the Who's Who of American high school students. Playing tuba in the band and then participating in summer marching band was a highlight of his school days. Andy enjoyed youth football and junior high football until health issues prevented him from continuing to play. Andy grew up on the family dairy farm and loved the farm life, especially showing dairy cattle at county fairs, the state fair, and other exhibitions. He was extremely involved in the local 4H club and the county 4H program. He was a great "PR" man, and can be credited with many families joining the 4H program over the years. He also held many leadership roles in both the local 4H club and at the county level. Andy faithfully attended church throughout his young life and was confirmed at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Bock.
Andy's short life came to a close on October 27, 2015, after a long but brave battle against illness.
