Mass of Christian Burial for Donna Oelrich, age 86, of Foley, formerly of Milaca, will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Milaca. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Milaca. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. at the church.
Donna Marie (Koecheler) Oelrich was born May 26th, 1929 to Anton and Sybil Koecheler in Mound, Mn. She graduated from Mound High School in 1947 before attending Business School to learn office machines. She got her first job at Dayton's in 1948 where she worked for 7 years. On April 16th, 1955 she married LeRoy Oelrich at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Mound, Mn. In 1959 they moved to Milaca, where they began their Culligan business. She also worked for several years at the 76 Station where she made many dear friends.
Donna enjoyed the company of her countless friends and loved to play cards and bingo. She was a league bowler for many years as well as a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and St. Mary's Guild. Her greatest joy in life was those she affectionately referred to as her "people."
She is survived by her children, Steven (Kathy) of St. Cloud, David (Julie) of Oakdale, Lynn (Tom) Olson of Outing and Anthony of St. Cloud. Her grandchildren, Mary (Rob) Ben (Allison) Eric (Becca) Jessica, Jacob, Brian, Kate (Clark) and Willie, 10 great-grandchildren, a brother, John (Joanne) Koecheler of Brainerd as well as many dear nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, her brother, Tony, her husband LeRoy, her daughter, Deb and her granddaughter Angela.
