Kathy Berget Andresen

Funeral services for Kathy Andresen, age 75, of Cold Spring, , will be held on Friday, March 20, 2009 at 11 AM at Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca. Interment will follow at Borgholm Cemetery near Bock. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday. Kathleen Berget Andresen was born May 14, 1933 to Ole and Thora Loiland in Grand Forks, ND. She was raised in the Grand Forks area and graduated from Oklee High School. Kathy then moved to the Twin Cities area. While working at the S&L Department Store in Robbinsdale, MN she met Ted Andresen. They were married on December 4, 1965. They made their home in New Hope, MN before moving to Cold Spring, MN in 1991. She loved children and flower gardens. Kathy passed away peacefully at her home on March 15, 2009 from complications of Parkinson’s disease. She is survived by her husband, Ted; son, Steve Millette of Fosston, MN; brothers, Nels and wife Carol Loiland of Grand Forks, ND and John and wife Lynda Loiland of Fosston, MN; niece, Shannon Towner; nephew, Gary Loiland; special care givers, Pat Decker and Sharon Rueter; also by many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Buddy Loiland.
