Dolores Ann Jackson

Dolores Ann Jackson, age 86, died Thursday, December 10, 2015. A private family interment was held at Forest Hill Cemetery in Milaca. Dolores was born January 22, 1929 to Wilfred and Lillian LaVigne in Minneapolis, MN. She grew up in Minneapolis and attended the Carnation School. She was united in marriage to Robert Gimbert on December 23, 1950. The couple made their home in Minneapolis until 1965 when they moved to California. Dolores married Robert Jackson on January 22, 1972. They moved back to Minnesota in 1975 and Robert preceded her in death in 1985. Dolores then moved to Milaca and later to the Gilman area. She passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at home near Gilman. She is survived by children, Richard (Diana) Gimbert of Florida, Ross Gimbert of Mora, Nancy Mollinedo of Cambridge and Janice Carpentier of Florida; one step-child, Lyle Gimbert of Texas; eight grandchildren; special friend, Arnold Wilke; sister, JoAnne Hanson; many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Gimbert and Robert Jackson; sisters, Shirley Lemm, Bernice Shand and brothers, Richard, Russell, Donald, Tom and Ray LaVigne.
