Charlotte Ann Blunt

Charlotte “Chucky” Blunt, age 76, of Onamia, formerly of Milaca, will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at 10 AM at Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca with Pastor Mike Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Borgholm Cemetery near Bock. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Charlotte Ann “Chucky” Blunt was born September 24, 1939 in Walnut Grove, MN to Fred and Bernice (Lovald) Otto. She grew up and attended school in the Walnut Grove area. For a couple summers, she worked with her sister at Glacier National Park, where Charlotte developed a love for the outdoors working with the trail rides. After graduating from high school, she worked for the telephone company in Redwood Falls. She was united in marriage to Donald Blunt and they made their home in Milaca. Charlotte worked at Milaca Mills and later drove school bus for 20 years. Charlotte enjoyed bowling, sewing, hunting and fishing. She passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Milaca Elim Home. She is survived by her son, MAJ Dennis Blunt of Arlington, VA; siblings, Joanne Otto, Deloris House, Ronnie Otto, Dale Otto and Marlys Burger; also by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald in 1982; parents, Fred and Bernice and sisters, Jerry and Patricia.
