Nine years ago after her adored husband of 41 years, Marlin, passed away, Marie, though grieving daily for him, bravely moved forward with her life. We are so very proud of her strength and courage. Marlin and Marie are together again.
All who were lucky enough to cross her path, knew of the unquestioning love, pride and support Marie had for her family and friends. She was a gentle, kind and sweet soul who was deeply loved by all of us and she will be missed every day.
Born in North Dakota and raised in Canada, she met Marlin right after high school. They lived in the St. Paul area their entire married life. At retirement, they had a summer home on Lake Sullivan and wintered in Arizona.
She is survived by her mother, Edythe M. Lewis of Regina, Sask, her daughter, Lori Weaver of Vadnais Heights, son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Nicole Weaver of Minnetonka, her eight grandchildren, Erika, 23, Gunnar, 22, Alexandra, 20, Andrew, 19, Tucker, 19, Luke, 15, Natalie 14 and Camille, 13 and sister-in-law, Marilyn Blincow of Vadnais Heights.
