Janice Clarice Keen

Memorial service for Janice Keen, age 77, of Milaca, will be held Friday, April 15, 2016 at 11 AM at Zion Lutheran Church in Milaca with Rev. Stephen Blenkush officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Janice Clarice Keen was born April 14, 1938 to Arthur and Emma (Lobitz) Villnow at Princeton Township, Mille Lacs County, MN. She graduated from Princeton High School in 1956. After graduating, Janice began working at Twin City Federal and later at Hartzel Manufacturing as a bookkeeper. In 1992, she moved to Milaca. Janice became a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Milaca. Soon after, Janice started working as the church bookkeeper, a position she held until the time of her death. She enjoyed knitting, reading, crossword puzzles and spending time with her family. Janice passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Fairview Northland Medical Center in Princeton. She is survived by her sisters, Myra Norrgard of Milaca and Joyce Swenson of Sartell; brother, Dale (Lois) Villnow of Coon Rapids; nieces, Lois (Rob) DeBoer of Milaca and Barb Krona of Sartell; also by many great-nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; nephews, Byron Norrgard and Dennis Swenson and brothers in law, Elmo Norrgard and Loren Swenson.
