Phyllis Ann Johnson

Funeral services for Phyllis Johnson, age 83, of Milaca, will be held Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 2 PM at Karmel Covenant Church with Pastor Gary Tonn, Pastor David Johnson and Pastor Al Monson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Interment will follow at Maywood Covenant Cemetery. Phyllis Ann Johnson was born April 16, 1933 near Dalbo, MN to Eddie and Lilly (Erickson) Anderson. She later graduated from Princeton High School. After high school, Phyllis worked at Northwestern Life Insurance Co. She was united in marriage to Ralph Johnson on September 21, 1974 at Karmel Covenant Church. They made their home in rural Foley and she occupied her time with things she enjoyed, teaching Sunday School for the smallest of children, daycare for relatives and playing games with grandchildren, camping, quilting, making puzzles, planning family reunions and hours of Upwords with Rosie. She passed away on Monday, June 13, 2016 at Milaca Elim Home. She is survived by children, Gail Johnson of Foley, David (Elaine) Johnson of Durban, Manitoba, Bryan (Wendy) Johnson of Foley and Craig (Nancy) Johnson of Sacramento, CA; grandchildren, Jeremy (Julie) Johnson of Foley, Emily (Jon) Weaver of Sauk Rapids, Krista Johnson (fiancé Chris Baumler) of Sauk Rapids and Savage, Hanne Johnson of Winnipeg and Karl Johnson of Winnipeg; great-grandchildren, Nolan, Elleese, Hamilton, Lenora and Henrietta Johnson and Jameson and Noelle Weaver; siblings, Robert (Harriett) Anderson of Rockford, IL and Marvel (Allen) Regehr of Cambridge; sisters-in-law, Lois Anderson, Bonnie Anderson and Suzie Anderson; also by many nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph; brothers, Darold, Dean, Glen, Kenneth, Franklin and Ronald and sisters, Harriet Tonn and Elaine Wicklund-Olson.
