Memorial visitation for Myrna Stob, age 70, of Milaca, will be held Monday, June 20, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca. Interment will follow in the Borgholm Cemetery near Bock.
Myrna Helen Stob was born May 10, 1946 to Edwin Wilhelm and Edna May (Kreger) Rosnow in Milaca, Minnesota. She graduated from Milaca High School in 1964. Myrna was united in marriage to John Stob on December 12, 1964.
She was baptized and confirmed at Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church in Milaca and a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
Myrna was employed for twenty-seven years at the Sportsman’s Cafe, which was later called the HiWay Cafe, in Milaca. In 1998, she began working for Casey’s General Stores, Inc. and continued there until her retirement in 2012.
Some of her favorite things were playing cards with family and friends, gardening and flowers, and genealogy.
She passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at her residence near Foreston.
Myrna is survived by her two sons, Martin Edwin (Tina Marie) Stob and grandson, John Darrel Stob, all of Buffalo, Missouri and son, Duane John (Jami Lucile) Stob of Foreston, grandchildren, Jessica Marie (Mike) Brant of Billings, Montana, John David Stob of Missoula, Montana, Jackelyn Stob of Missoula, Montana, Alexis (Josh) Lattery of Becker, and Nicole Bixby of Foreston; and three great-grandchildren, Skylar Lyn and Robert Allen Brant of Billings, Montana and Lucas Andrew Lattery of Becker; two sisters, Ruth Norma (Duane) Mycue of Milaca and Lois Ann Good of Superior, Wisconsin; two nieces, Kimberly (Deon) Wills of Milaca and April Good of Superior, Wisconsin; two nephews, Christian (Kathy) Mycue of Milaca and Travis Jason Good of Superior, Wisconsin; aunt, Louraine Roberson of Wadena; eight cousins, many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John, in 1993, three aunts, and one uncle.
