Janet Leila Paulson was born January 24, 1945 to John and Agnes (Olson) Peach at the Milaca Hospital. She attended Whitney Brook School until moving to Missouri with her family. She spent five years in West Plains, MO where many fond memories were created with her cousins. She attended Milaca High School until graduation in 1962. After high school, she worked in Minneapolis as a legal secretary. On December 13, 1969, she married William Ray Paulson. Ray and Janet bought acreage near Bock, MN and started their family of five children.
Janet loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She had a very kind heart; her warmth made many instantly comfortable. She enjoyed good food, and sometimes it seemed possible for her to eat her weight in dessert. She worked for Milaca Public Schools for many years, but she also had an entrepreneurial spirit. Janet enjoyed reading, music, sewing, gardening, Audrey Hepburn movies, craft fairs, and family gatherings. She was also an active member of True Vine Lutheran Church in Mora, MN and loved her church family.
Janet will be missed greatly by all. Janet passed away peacefully at her home on July 30, 2016 from cancer. She is survived by her husband, Ray of Bock; children, Jennifer (Terry) Worm, Richard Paulson, Michael (Jenny) Paulson, Susan (Matt) Koehmstedt, Sarah (Robert) Huewe; six grandchildren, Logan Worm, Marley (Ethan) Archambault, Tucker Worm, Jacob Paulson, Wyatt and Aubrey Huewe; siblings Jack (Trudy) Peach, Carol (Larry) Goertz, and Sandy (Brad) Hoffman. Janet was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Shirley Peach.
