Frank Joseph Lazorik Sr.

Frank J. Lazorik, Sr., age 95, of Plymouth, formerly of Milaca, died Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at Mission Nursing Home in Plymouth. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2009 at 11 AM at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Onamia with Fr. Stacey Richter officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Onamia. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM Friday at Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca. Casketbearers will include Greg Lazorik, Paul Lazorik, Danny Lazorik, Ron Evenson, Tony Reed and Greg Reed. Frank Lazorik was born February 17, 1914 in Minneapolis, MN to Michael and Nancy Lazorik. He moved the Milaca area with his family as a child. He married Theresa Ann Beckers and they lived on a farm near Milaca all of their lives. Frank enjoyed fishing, hunting, farming and spending time with friends. He is survived by his children, Paul M. Lazorik and friend Gail Weston of Oak Park, MN, Peter J. Lazorik and friend Melinda Polander of Milaca, Mary Ann and husband Mike Reed of Sauk Rapids and Frank J. Lazorik Jr. of Milaca; grandchildren, Jenny, Erin, Greg and Tony; sister, Mary Mattson of Milaca. He was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa and numerous siblings.
