Funeral services for Agnes Erickson, age 94, of Milaca will be held at 10 AM on Friday, July 3, 2009 at Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca. Interment will follow at Milo Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Arr. Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca. Agnes Erickson was born March 14, 1915 in Finley, ND to Jens and Emma (Christopherson) Berge. She married Edward Erickson on August 8, 1936 in Oak Park, MN. They made their home on a farm in Bogus Brook Township near Milaca. They later moved to a farm north of Oak Park and lived there for several years. Her husband, Edward, preceded her in death in 1971 and she moved to live in Milaca. She has resided at Centennial Manor in Milaca for about the last 20 years. Agnes loved knitting, quilting, crocheting and doing crafts. She was also an avid reader and enjoyed fishing. She died on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at Fairview Northland Regional Hospital in Princeton. She is survived by children, Janet Sanders of Boyd, MN, Donald and wife Phyllis of Hillman, Lewis and wife Joyce of Eureka, IL, Barbara Knudsen of St. Cloud, Michael and wife Carol of Royalton, Judy Johnson of Mora, Kerry of Westchester , IA and Bruce and wife Vicki of Elk River, MN; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Phyllis Versdahl of Seattle, WA; also by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; sons, Aldred, Gerald and Dennis; daughters, Vivian and Nancy; infant son, David and grandson, Kevin Lee Sclafani.
