Funeral services for Marilyn (Cornelius) Knoll, age 76, of Rockford, will be held Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 2 PM at Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Milaca. Marilyn (Cornelius) Knoll was born November 7, 1940 to Alfred and Bernice (Hunter) Baker in Minneapolis. She grew up south Minneapolis on 32nd and Bryant South. Marilyn graduated from West Senior High School with the class of 1958. She was as a foster parent for 36 years for about 400 children from infant to teenage. She enjoyed it and missed it later on in life. She passed away Sunday, December 25, 2016 at Parkview Care Center in Buffalo. She was preceded in death by husbands, Earl Cornelius and Marvin Knoll; parents, Alfred and Bernice Baker; brothers, Alfred Baker Jr. and Milton Baker; sister, Jeanette Evans; brothers-in-law, Dennis Evans and Jay Gunderson; niece, Tammy Baker; children, Joel Cornelius and Richard Cornelius. She is survived by children, Bonnie (Larry) Davis, Robert (Diane) Cornelius, Alan (Laura) Cornelius, Brian Cornelius, Michael (fiancé Gretchen) Cornelius and Anjanette Cornelius; grandchildren, Sarah (Paul) Norton, Amy Davis, Kari (Andrew) Stern, Matthew Davis, Michael Davis, Dwayne (fiancé Kirsten) Cornelius, Dan Cornelius, Gerald (Casandra) Weineck, Thomas (Sarah) Weineck, Stephanie Pakenham, Andrew Eggersgluss, Alison Cornelius, Hannah Cornelius, Brayden Cornelius, Addison Cornelius; great-grandchildren, Kaylin, Camren, Riley, Elizabeth, Christopher, Xander, Merrick, Lydia, Wyatt, Luna, Teagan and Camden; siblings, Louis Gunderson and Larry (Colleen) Baker.
