Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 AM, Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at the St. Louis Catholic Church in Foreston with Fr. Joseph Herzing officiating. Casketbearers will be the grandchildren. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 PM Tuesday, Oct 13 at the Peterson Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca. Lucille Mary Keehr was born on June 28, 1941 to Edward and Loretta (Juetten) Broschofsky in Morrison County, MN. She attended school in Milaca where she graduated from High School in 1959. Lucille worked in Minneapolis as a secretary for a car dealership for a short time. On April 24, 1961 she was united in marriage to Ray Keehr in Brennyville. The couple resided in Morrison County before moving to Milaca Township where they farmed. They spent a year and a half in Duluth before moving back to the Milaca area. Lucille worked at Woodcraft in Foreston for over 25 years. Lucille also helped with the farm chores in addition to raising her children with cooking, baking and gardening. Her hobbies included crocheting, reading and playing cards. She most enjoyed being a grandma to her 8 grandchildren. She was a long time member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Foreston. Lucille died on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at the St. Cloud Hospital the age of 68 year 3 months and 12 days. She is survived by her husband, Ray, daughter, Rene (Russell) Hamman of Augusta, WI, Craig and wife, Sharen of Crystal, MN Curt and wife, Patty of Brooklyn Park, MN, and Clyde and wife, Julie of East Bethel, MN, 8 grandchildren, Cory and Jake Hamman, Lucas, Logan, Nicole, Kyle, Reed and Allison Keehr. 2 sisters, Dorothy Montag of Foreston and Frances Dobos of Foley, 3 brothers, Herb (Marcie) Broschofsky of Pierz, Jerome (Patty) Broschofsky of Louisianna, and Conrad (Judy) Broschofsky of Milaca, special cousin, Kenny (Mary) Broshofske of Ogilvie and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
