Kathleen Rose Schwartz

Memorial services for Kathleen Rose Schwartz, age 60, of Milaca, will be held on Friday, March 12, 2010 at 11 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Milaca with Fr. Jim Remmerswaal, OSC officiating. Arr. Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home of Milaca. Kathleen Rose Schwartz was born January 23, 1950 in Foley, MN to William and Rose (Kaiser) LaFore in Foley, MN. After high school, she moved to the Twin Cities and worked at Jax Restaurant. She married Maynard Schwartz on December 22, 1973. They made their home in Dalbo, MN and later moved to Milaca, MN. Kathy delivered the Star Tribune until her illness. She liked farm life, raising her chickens and collecting agates and coins. She loved her five children and two grandchildren. She died on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at Fairview Northland Regional Hospital in Princeton. She is survived by her husband, Maynard of Milaca; children, Gordon (Jill) of Princeton, Wesley of Anoka, Lisa, Raymond and Krystle all of Milaca; grandchildren, Tucker and Macy of Princeton; siblings, Eugene LaFore of Foley, Ed LaFore and friend Jodi of Oak Park, Alrene (Russ) Vogt of Foreston, LeRoy LaFore of Foley, Jean (Dennis) Saxon of Oak Park, Dorothy Latatwiec of Minneapolis, Delores (Mike) Hennix of Royalton, Jane Hennix and friend Ron of Ramsey and Jim (Carol) LaFore of Foreston; also by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Basil and wife Dorothy LaFore; an infant brother and sister; brothers in law, Bob Baker and Dick Latawiec.
