Gladys Evelina Nelson

Memorial services for Gladys Nelson, age 98, of Isle, will be held on Sunday, March 14, 2010 at 2 PM at Isle Baptist Church. Gladys Evelina Nelson was born on April 12, 1911 in Hayland Township to Erick and Emma (Nelson) Nelson. She was united in marriage to Harry Nelson. She enjoyed taking care of her grandkids. She died at the Mille Lacs Health System Tuesday, March 02, 2010 at the age of 98 years old. She is survived by two sons, James of Isle and Roger (Ingrid) of Cameron, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Jody (Todd) Slater, Michelle (Bryan) Telander, David Nelson, Chadwick (Jennifer) Nelson, and Matthew (Candida) Nelson; great grandchildren, Sheri Engblom, John Engblom , Kevin Telander, Erin (Mike) Kyllonen, Jeff Telander, Kristina (Jeremy) Tweety , Emma Nelson, Andrew Nelson, Pavel Nelson, and Annika Nelson; one great great grandson, Zachary Kyllonen; special friends, Alden Smith, Mark Sahw, and Rani Lenhart. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers, Vern and Bert Nelson.
