Jack Lee Bork, age 58, of Milaca, died April 7, 2010 in Montrose, PA. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 14 at 2 PM at Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca with Rev. Tom Sahlstrom officiating. Casketbearers include Roger Wagner, Jerry Stark, Norman Herbst, Troy Lepper, Bob Hoffman, and Lanny Polinder. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Milaca. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday. Music will be provided by Heather Herbst and Cheryl Bailey. Arr. Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home of Milaca.
Jack Lee Bork was born December 14, 1951 in Milaca, MN to Sidney and Elizabeth (Severeign) Bork. Jack lived in rural Milaca most of his life. He lived in Kimball and Big Lake for a short time. Jack was employed at Roehl Transport in Wisconsin as an over the road truck driver at the present. Jack had also worked for Borgert Concrete in Saint Joseph for many years. He also worked for Northwest LP Gas for several years.
Jack enjoyed going to the stock car races, bowling, spending time with family and friends, going out to dinner, and making many creative things out of plastic canvas. In his spare time, Jack helped Roger and Nancy Wagner on their farm. Everyone will miss his sense of humor and cracking jokes.
Jack is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Bork of Milaca, MN; daughter, Kimberly Jo Bork of Apple Valley, MN; step-son, Brian (Denise) Riedemann of Saint Cloud, MN; grandchildren, Kori, Brandi, Michelle, and Dawn; longtime friend, Darlene Polinder of Foley, MN, and good friend, Lanny Polinder of Milaca, MN
Jack was preceded in death by father, Sidney Bork; brother, Richard Albert Bork; and step-daughter, Jodi Riedemann.
