Ardelle Delores Palmquist

Funeral services for Ardelle Palmquist, age 82, of Foreston, will be held Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Milaca United Methodist Church with Pastor Joyce Slostad officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Milaca. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Ardelle D. Palmquist was born to Clifford and Mildred Arend on March 10, 1935 in Ellison Bay, WI. She attended Gibraltar High School in Fish Creek, WI until 1952. She then moved to Illinois to work. On August 25, 1956, she married Eugene Palmquist in Milaca, MN. They made their home in Foreston, MN. Ardelle worked at Gorecki’s, Milaca Hospital, Sunset Ridge Supper Club, Milaca Legion Club, and retired from Olson’s Super Valu Foods. She was a member of the United Methodist Women’s Club. She loved to crochet, bake, put together puzzles, and spend time with family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ardelle passed away on Monday, October 16, 2017 at home surrounded by her family. Ardelle is survived by her children, Robert of Foreston, Lou of Foreston, Jim (Vickie) of Foreston, Jerry (Melissa) of Marshfield, WI, Christine (Randy) Benson of Milaca, Cindy (Shawn) Reese of Milaca; grandchildren, Jamie (Joe), Joshua (Lisa), Shaun, Robin, Amber, Weston (Jessica), Marti, Mason, Mariah, Carmen, Shauna, Nate, Zach and Gina; great grandchildren, Autumn, Peyton, Hailey, Kelsie, Cayden, Brett, Creed, Adam, Justin, Makayla, Haleigh, Joshua, Cameron, Alainna and Scarlett; brother, Stanley (Mary) of Arizona; sisters-in-law, Delores Palmquist and Marilyn Palmquist; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gene in 2010; brothers-in-law, Louie, Nels and Edwin Palmquist and sister-in-law Nellie Palmquist.
