Beverly Lou Kiel

Funeral services for Beverly Kiel, age 78, of Milaca, will be held Monday, February 26, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at the Milaca Elim Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Clifton officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, February 25, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca and also one hour prior to services at the Milaca Elim Home.   Interment will take place in the Forest Hill Cemetery.

Beverly Lou Kiel was born June 14, 1939 in Minneapolis to Edward and Minnie (Kiel) Hastings. She graduated from Milaca High School in 1956. On July 02, 1967 Bev was united in marriage to Robert S. Kiel. They had three children, Donald, Sandra, and Stephanie. Years later, many foster children.

She had many passions including: fishing, styling hair, making flower arrangements, and just lately, painting pictures. She loved meeting people, traveling, and taking her grandsons for boat rides. She had a lot of love in her heart to give along with an over abundant amount of hugs. She had a very fun loving sense of humor.

Heaven received another angel February 22, 2018. Bev passed away peacefully at the Milaca Elim Home.

Beverly is survived by her children, Sandra (Jere) Bartz, Stephanie Kiel (Mike Johnson); grandsons, Brandon (Megan) Kiel, Jeramie Kiel (Rebecca Kraft), Joshua (Sarah) Bartz, Cody Bartz (Molly Peglow); great grandsons, Caleb Bartz and Oliver Kiel; daughter-in-law, Kathy Kiel; two brothers, Robert (Donna) Hastings and Butch (Eileen) Hastings; sister, Carol Berg; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Kiel; son, Donald Kiel; and sister, Kaye Hastings.
