Beverly Skogman

Beverly Ann Skogman, 86, of Milaca, died at Quiet Oaks Hospice Care in St. Cloud, Minnesota on December 22, 2024.

She was born August 23, 1938 to Miland LeeRoy Bailey and Eleanor Mary Bailey in Mille Lacs County, South Harbor Township at the home of her grandparents, William and Rose Brandt.

Beverly was married on July 18, 1954 to Donald Lawrence Skogman at Lewis Lake Covenant Church. They were married for 63 years, 5 months, and 15 days. 

Bev grew up in the Cove and Milaca area. She worked in Minneapolis as an Assembler at EMR, which became Univac, which became Unisys. She retired from Unisys in 1993 after 25 years. She also volunteered at the Food Co-op in Isle.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Lawrence Skogman, her parents Miland and Eleanor Bailey, son Randy Skogman, grandson Travis Skogman, sister-in-law, Sandy Bailey, and brother-in-law, Dennis Haugen.

Beverly is survived by her children Debbie (Randy) Larson, Rick Skogman, Dawn (Bud) Schulte, and daughter-in-law Karen Skogman, grandchildren Angie and Kraig Karger, Nick and Katie Skogman, Kyle and Megan Skogman, Kaylee Skogman and Mike Manthey, Mitchell Skogman and Kallie, Mariel Skogman, Duston and Mackenzie Schulte, and Rachael Schulte, great-grandchildren Austin Karger and Ali, Dylan Karger and Ashlyn, Lily Skogman, Kaydon McMullen, Connor Manthey, Dane, Owen, Evan Skogman, Anders Schulte, great-great-grandchild Avery Karger, four brothers and sisters Evelyn Haugen, Shirley and Dick Worth, Donald and Cheryl Bailey, Ronald and Mary Bailey and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 2 PM at Zion Lutheran Church in Milaca. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Milaca.
