Carole Jeanne Hollingsworth

Carole J. Hollingsworth, age 60, of Princeton, passed away August 1, 2018 at Foley Nursing Center, after a courageous battle with cancer. 

She was born October 31, 1957 in Princeton, the daughter of Dallas and Dolores (Hamann) DeJong.  She lived all her life in Princeton, graduating from Princeton High School.  She worked for many years at U.S.D.P. in Princeton and most recently at Walmart. She married her love, David Hollingsworth, on July 14, 1996 in St. Cloud.  She loved spending time with her family and friends and was loved by all who knew her.  She looked forward to the road trips with her mother and sister, Barb, to the casinos. She also enjoyed fishing and camping at Voyageurs National Park on the houseboat with Dave and watching the bears.

She is survived by her husband, Dave;  parents, Dallas and Dolores (Hamann) DeJong;  daughter, Stacey (Bryan) Hatch of Mora;  sister, Barb (Scott) Clunis of Young America;  step-children, Aaron (Brittaney) Hollingsworth of Farmington and Sara (Luke) Mosman of Princeton;  six grandchildren and one nephew.

She was preceded in death by her son, Brandon Homstad.

A private family interment will take place at a later date.
