Carole Ann Weidner

Memorial services for Carole Weidner, age 73, of Mora, will be held Friday, March 2, 2018 at 12 Noon at Milaca Evangelical Free Church. Visitation will be from 5 – 8 PM Thursday at Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca and 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Interment will take place at Forest Hill Cemetery in Milaca at a later date.

Carole Ann Weidner was born March 28, 1944 to Hans and Carolyn (Jacobson) Hanson in Anoka, MN. She grew up in Bethel and graduated from St. Francis High School in 1962. Carole was united in marriage to Daniel Weidner on June 20, 1964 at St. Olaf’s Catholic Church in Minneapolis. She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. Carole passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at her home.

She is survived by her husband, Dan; children, Troy (Rachel) Weidner, Lisa (Everett) Smith, Lana (Tom) O’Malley and Dan (Mary) Weidner; grandchildren, Jared (Leah) Weidner, Austin Weidner, Ben Weidner, Luke (Brianna) O’Malley, Alex O’Malley, Savanah O’Malley, Kalley Weidner and Nicholas Weidner; great-grandchildren, Reagan Weidner and Waylon O’Malley; sisters, Agnes (Rollie) Eull and Hazel Goranson; also by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Harold Hanson and sisters, Jeanette Johnson and Clarice Weberg.
