Clarence E. Sauter

Clarence E. Sauter, age 91, of Milaca passed away peacefully July 1, 2019 at Caley House Assisted Living in Princeton, MN.  Graveside service will be held Friday, July 5, 2019 at 11 AM at Forest Hill Cemetery in Milaca, MN with Pastor Don Smith officiating. 

Clarence was born June 5, 1928 in Carson, ND to Jacob and Mary (Hintz) Sauter.  He married Glenna Goebel on September 3, 1949 in Swanville, MN.  They enjoyed 69 years of marriage.  He performed a variety of jobs during his life, but his true passions were horses, farming and mowing his lawn. 

He is survived by his wife, Glenna; their children, Laren (Kay) Sauter, Gayleen Mattson, and Gale Sauter; grandchildren, Chad, Cassey (Chris), Tony and Celia; many great-grandchildren; sister, Florence Sheldon; sisters-in-law, Leah (Walt) Kreie, and Bev Sauter; brother-in-law, Norman Scott; daughter-in-law, Candy Sauter and many other relatives and friends. 

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents; son, Terry Sauter; son-in-law, Larry Mattson; daughter-in-law, Stacy Sauter; siblings, Emma Sauter, Robert Sauter, Rudy Sauter, Lydia Matthews, Gertrude Scott and Edwin Sauter. 

Flowers will not be necessary.
