He worked as a truck driver and later as a heavy equipment operator while always maintaining his love of farming. He enjoyed John Deere tractors and tractor pulls. He also enjoyed deer hunting and ice fishing with family and friends and continued to do so as long he was able.
Dale is survived by his wife of 40 years, Karee; his children, Dan (Tanya) Meyer, Don (Tammy) Meyer, Dee Dee (Dave) Conkle, Danielle (Jonathan) Ingalls, and Derek (Mary) Meyer; grandchildren, Nila (Chris) Pederson, Jarod Meyer, Elizabeth Meyer, Dennis III “Boomer”, and Brody Thiel, Isabella and Caleb Ingalls, and Charlie Meyer; 14 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Ervin (Marie) Meyer, Allan (Ruth) Meyer, and Kevin (Laurie) Meyer; brother-in-law, Rick Bleed; nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends, and beloved dog, Dixie.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Nila; brother, Kalvin; and granddaughter, Keisa.
A celebration of Dale's life will be held Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 4 - 8 PM at Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca.
