Gary Ronald Tesch

Funeral services for Gary Tesch, age 68, of Milaca, will be held Monday, January 29, 2018 at Zion Lutheran Church in Milaca with Rev. Stephen Blenkush officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will take place at a later date at the Minnesota State Veteran’s Cemetery near Little Falls.

Gary Ronald Tesch was born September 18, 1949. He served in the U.S. Navy after graduation, where he learned the love of woodworking.

He loved seeing the country on 18 wheels, and drove and retired from driving semi after 33 years. His CB handle was “Smiling Jack”.  During retirement, he spent many hours in “Santa’s Workshop” building children’s furniture and gifts of all kinds.

He and his wife, Tina, of 37 years, enjoyed many many miles on two wheels, where they loved getting lost together on weekend rides.

Gary was very proud of his children and especially loved the times spent with his grandchildren. Gary will be missed by many because he was loved by lots.

Gary passed away January 25, 2018 at his residence.

Gary is survived by his wife, Tina, of Milaca; children, Sara (Jamie) Burton and grandson, Levi, of Minnetonka, MN, son, Dave (Val) Tesch and granddaughters, Lexy and Azalea of Foreston, MN, and Lyz (Aaron) Habeck of Isle, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Orlando and Lenora Tesch.
