George Bradley Kaspar, age 87, died December 1, 2024 at Milaca Elim Meadows from natural causes. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 11 AM at Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca.  Burial with full military honors will follow at Chase Brook Cemetery near Milaca.  Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday.  

George was born November 7, 1937 on the family farm in the Stony Brook area to Ed and Sylvia Kaspar. He was the fifth of six children.

He graduated from Milaca High School in 1956. After high school, he joined the US Navy. He met and married Edna Fetters on July 3, 1971. Shortly after, they moved to San Diego, where they had three children: George, Sylvia, and Katherine. Later they moved to Great Lakes, IL where they had Laura.

In 1987, George retired from the US Navy after 27 years. They moved back to Milaca to raise their children and run a hobby farm.

George loved road trips, farming, snowmobiling, four wheeling, family time, golfing, and visiting neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Harriett Salgren, Lucille Segerstrom, Ethel Johnson, and Ed Kaspar.

George leaves behind his children, George “GB” (Amber) Kaspar, Sylvia (Dan) Trebesch, Katherine Kaspar, and Laura (Tony) Fussy; grandchildren, Cole, Bradley, Claire, Ace, Charlie, and Landon; sister, Bonnie Scherer, and ex-wife, Edna Kaspar.
