Jeffrey Benjamin Schoumaker

Jeffrey Schoumaker, age 63, of Milaca, passed away October 15, 2022.  Memorial Mass will be held Thursday, November 3, 2022 at 11 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Milaca.  Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.  Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Jeffrey Benjamin Schoumaker was born January 4, 1959 to Benjamin and Renee (Katke) Schoumaker in Milaca, MN.  He graduated from Milaca High School in 1977 and attended Alexandria Technical College for small engine repair.  He was united in marriage to Phyllis Abelman in 1999 in Milaca, MN.  Jeff had a small engine repair shop in Bock and did custom field work.  He enjoyed fishing, playing bingo and cards.  Jeff liked cars and trucks and going to tractor pulls.  He loved his home on the farm and enjoyed the company of his cats and his dog, Buddy.  In 2020, he moved to Sunrise Village Assisted Living in Milaca. 

He is survived by his mother, Renee Schoumaker of Milaca;  daughter, Sharon Schoumaker of Brook Park;  son, James Schoumaker of Brook Park;  siblings, Terry Schoumaker of Ogilvie, Leon (Jackie) Schoumaker of Mora and Melaine (Curt) McCormick of Milaca;  special friends, Shari Hass and her son, Josh.

He was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin and grandparents, Tony and Dorothy Katke and Herman and Lela Schoumaker.
