Jerome Anthony Viaene

Jerome Viaene, age 88, of Milaca, passed away Monday, March 12, 2018 at Milaca Elim Home. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 11 AM at St. Louis Cemetery in Foreston.

Jerome Anthony “Nobbi” Vianene was born February 3, 1930 in Duluth, MN to Joseph and Clara (Yerken) Viaene. He moved with his family to Foreston. Jerome attended three different country schools in the Foreston and Milaca area.   As a young man, Jerome worked on many farms. He served in the U.S. Army from 1948 – 1949. After returning from the service, Jerome made is home in Milaca. He drove truck for several years and later worked at Crystal Cabinets.

He is survived by his sister, Therese Viaene of Milaca. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and five sisters.
