Lucille Helen Hallin

Funeral services for Lucille Hallin, age 93, of Bock, will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Bock with Rev. Beverly Robinson officiating. Interment will follow at Borgholm Cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Lucille Helen Hallin was born February 8, 1925 to William and Louise (Schaffer) Manthie in Oelwin, Iowa. At the age of six, she moved with her family to Minnesota.  Lucillle attended District 41 Country School in Mudgett Township, Mille Lacs County, MN. She was united in marriage to Arthur Hallin on November 13, 1944 at the church parsonage in Bock.  They made their home on a farm near Bock.  Lucille worked at Milaca Mills for thirty-two years until her retirement in 1985.  She enjoyed sewing, bowling and playing at casinos.  She passed away at her home in Bock on Friday, June 22, 2018.

She is survived by her children, Diana (Norman) Hibden of Long Beach, CA and Robert (LuAnne) Hallin of Columbia Heights;  five grandchildren, Donald Wieberdink, Tonya Ess, Marie Hallin, Bobby Hallin and Nicki (Paul) Birr;  eight great-grandchildren, Summer, Brian, Skylah, Vicky, Annie, Brittany, Jon and Jeremy; sister, Luella Nelson;  brother, Albert Manthie;  also by many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur;  daughter, Kathy Azlin;  brothers, Edward, Gordon, George, Eugene and Hank Manthie and sisters, Margart Hansen, Betty Miller, Francis Manthie and infant brother, William Manthie.
